Our products are recommended for ages 3 and up and for those who do not mouth objects, as small parts could pose a choking hazard. Adult supervision (and some playful participation!) is required for a safe and delightful play experience.

With proper care and storage, our sensory mixes can last for years, and playdough can last for 4+ months. We use sea salt as a natural preservative for our playdough and our scented dough has antimicrobial properties to help extend its life.

Discard immediately if mould appears.

Always play with clean, dry hands. Store your playdough in a tightly sealed container or bag, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool & dry place. Storing dough in the fridge may also help extend shelf life.

• Remove sensory mixes from dough at the end of play to prolong life of dough
• Salt crystals may form naturally as it is a salt-based dough—just knead them back in!
• If the dough becomes too dry, add a little oil and knead well.
• If it's too sticky, add some flour and knead well.
• Empty jars and clean regularly in between uses. Clean with soap and water and disinfect with vinegar. Ensure the jars are completely dry before adding playdough back into the jars

Our playdough is 100 % non-toxic and taste safe but SHOULD NOT BE CONSUMED due to the raw flour & high salt content.

Our lavender scented dough is crafted with plant-based hydration and moisture-locking ingredients, plus natural antimicrobials to keep it fresh and germ-free longer.

For playdough, any non-porous surface that’s easy to clean will do the trick. For sensory mixes, a shallow bin to pour the mix into works perfectly!

Just for reference, one Pour & Explore boxes is designed to cover a small TROFAST bin completely. But honestly, any space can become your perfect sensory play zone. Get creative and have fun!
